Soutache lace or also called ribbon lace. Each motif of the Soutache lace is outlined with a heavier thread or cord, giving the lace a three-dimensional look outlined with soutache (a narrow, flat braid, also known as a Russian braid).

Chantilly lace is a handmade bobbin lace named after the city of Chantilly, France, in a tradition dating from the 17th century. Chantilly lace is known for its fine ground, outlined pattern, and abundant detail. The pattern is a floral lace on a plain hexagonal mesh background, usually outlined in cordonnet and having double-scalloped edges.
