A gown reimagined

A gown re imagined. When our bride  Elizabeth came to us with a vision to recreate her Grandmothers vintage wedding dress, She dreamed of a  gown that would capture the charm and elegance of her  special day, and  yet still keep the beautiful fabric and cut of her grandmothers bridal gown. It was very special and important to Elizabeth to wear her grandmothers gown, someone who could not be at her wedding and who was a very important person in her life.  Using silk net to open the back and handmade silk chiffon embroidery encrusted with swarovski crystals, Kirstie created a look which was both timeless and inspired by Elizabeth's grandmothers original gown, keeping  the bias skirt and silk slip. The final creation was both vintage and new with fine details used from the early 1920's and today, creating a gown re imagined for a fairy tale bride. . It was a pleasure to work with Elizabeth on her inspiring and cherished dream.
